Two student study visits to the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina successfully implemented 

Study visits were held within the framework of the cooperation program of the Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina with academic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Institute for Intellectual Property of Bosnia and Herzegovina has successfully implemented two study visits of university students within the program of cooperation with academic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Study visits were held at the branch office of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH in Sarajevo, on Wednesday, May 6 and Thursday, May 7. 

Students of the Faculty of Law of the International University of Sarajevo (IUS) visited the Institute's branch office on Wednesday, May 6, on which occasion they got acquainted in more detail with the activities of the Institute, as well as with the field of patent law and trademark law. The study visit was attended by 24 students and assistant professor Salora Turkmanović.

A study visit of students from the Faculty of Law of the University of East Sarajevo, led by Prof. Dr. Svjetlana Ivanović, was held on Thursday, May 7. This visit was of an interactive type, i.e. a type of workshop, where students, in addition to presentations on the protection of intellectual property rights, had the opportunity to get acquainted with examples from practice through discussions with the employees of the Institute.

These two visits rounded off the cycle of study visits for this academic semester. 

Institutional cooperation of the Institute for Intellectual Property of BiH with academic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina aims to improve legal science, practice and education in the field of intellectual property law.
